An annual inspection is just that. Inspect everything on the airplane. To facilitate that, aircraft are designed with inspection panels which need to be removed so you can examine the internals of the airplane. There are lots of panels. I figure about 32, give or take. That means removing over a hundred screws and then replacing them when finished. Certainly a mind numbing operation. But I don't mind it so much. When all of the panels are removed, it looks like you are accomplishing something. When they are all replaced, it seems like you have accomplished even more.
This is the front floor of the cabin. There are 13 inspection panels in the cabin. So it goes.
