It was a great day. We are still working to put the place back to normal. During the flood, the couches in the Living Room were destroyed. Ginny has been looking for new ones. I would guess that she has examined well over a thousand online. Probably more. She spent hours searching for the right design and the right material. Finally, she found it and we ordered a sofa and a love seat. The love seat was in stock and it was shipped right away. The sofa had to be built so it will be a month or so before it arrives. The way this shipment works is that the delivery guy drops it at your front door and you are on your own. It was very well packaged in an interesting cardboard box.

We managed to get the container into the living room and open it up. We had to attach the feet which should have been simple except the bolts they sent were too short. We took some photos and sent them to the company and they said they would look at it. I said "Bull&shit." There was no way we were going to wait to finish assembling the love seat. The bolts they supplied were M6x45. We needed M6x55. Off to Ace Hardware and eight bolts were in my hands. We put the feet on and put the love seat in its place. I can tell you that not only was it exactly the right color and design (Ginny wouldn't have it any other way), but it was very comfortable. Good Job Ginny!!

So today's photo is of Ginny enjoying the fruits of her labor. The future couch will be perpendicular to the love seat. In the mean time folding chairs will occupy the space.
