We spent quite a bit of time at the mall today. Ginny had about $200 in credit at Macy's which is going to expire soon. In the end she decided to stock up on goodies that we take with us to give to friends on the road. After quite a bit of fetching, examining and selecting, we ran up a bill sufficient to use up her credit. I wanted to blow it (and some more money) on a Kitchen-Aid mixer which I have been coveting for years. As always, the answer was NO.

While we were nosing around I came across a funny sign that was stuck in a toaster. I guess the cardboard pieces are there to stabilize the guts of the thing in transit. But it is beyond me, I can't even imagine, could anybody be stupid enough to turn on the toaster with the cardboard pieces in place. As always, the lawyers rule. Now what is good about this photo is that I happened to have my trusty smart phone in my pocket so I could take a snap. How cool is that? Easily amused, mind you.
