Project Day 84 - Exile Day 34 - Big day today. The counter tops and sinks got installed. Everything went smoothly except the installers cracked one of counters for the upstairs bathroom. That will have to be replaced. So the kitchen is starting to look like a kitchen. They still have to install all the faucets and the cook top and microwave. Those are to be delivered this week. Tomorrow the big deal is that they are going to install the tile in the kitchen. It will be slate and when finished Ginny can say that every square foot of the downstairs is tiled with slate. That should be a big moment for her because it is the vision she has had for a very long time.
