Day 50 - This is the last day living in the house before the construction begins. Tomorrow we move into the Candlewood Suites for the duration of the project. This is going to be quite an adventure.
Today I attended the annual Inspection Authorization recurrent training seminar. Last year's seminar was interesting because of the NTSB presentation about the Reno 2011 P-51 accident. This year wasn't quite as exciting, but there were several talks I found interesting. That is if you find batteries an enlightening topic. Ginny worked on packing stuff at the house with an afternoon mission to take our dear friends Maria and Bill to the airport for a trip to Australia and New Zealand.
Elsewhere in the family, my son Robert started a new job in Alpharetta. It looks like a good deal all around, especially because his commute will be about 15 minutes. He sent us a first day on the job photo which is today's picture. We have quite a few first day of school photos like this one and this one.
