Day 4 - Our carpenter crew is not going to be at it over the weekend. Our contractor and his crews don't work weekends. So it goes. We started out the morning by having another meeting with Ginny's favorite designer. Her name is Melinda and she is OK by me. As I mentioned before, I would have had the carpet, floors, tile and the rest of it selected a couple months ago. But Ginny definitely enjoys the design and selection process, so she will end up with something that is hers and she is proud of. Good deal all around.

I mentioned a couple weeks ago about the utility of liquor boxes for packing stuff up. Here is a visual example of what I was talking about. The cardboard dividers are perfect for storing cups, glasses, etc. With a fist full of newspaper you can do a good and secure packing job. Ginny is working on the kitchen right now because that and the bathrooms will get started after the garage is finished (hopefully in a week or so).

Crown Royal is popular I guess.
I don't buy it, but a lot of others
do. They make damn good boxes.
