I headed out at sunrise to Bay Area Park. My intention was to try out my new 7D Mk2 with the 100-400 lens. I was impressed. There were some people out in kayaks, but there weren't too many interesting critters around. As I was about to leave I noticed a group gathering at the pier. They were waiting for a pontoon boat ride on the bayou. I decided to hang around and see if I could get some nice pictures of the boat. Sure enough, I had plenty of opportunity to take photos. I liked how the camera/lens combination performed. Back home I got a good look at the pictures in Lightroom. They were pretty sharp. Still have to get lots of practice.
John, I use Flickr as a back up for all my photos. Every single photo looks much better on Flickr. Better colours, a lot sharper. And totally free. If only it had a decent filing system I would consider changing.
