Today we visited Woodford Reserve and Buffalo Trace distilleries. Both tours were very good. We liked the Buffalo Trace tasting the best because the guy just kept pouring. How good is that! Anyway, today's photo is of the Woodford Reserve stillhouse. For those of you in Scotland, you will think that it is of a Scotch distillery. They use pot stills. This is the only large distiller along the trail that uses pot stills. I think they are quite nice looking. It turns out that these stills don't make enough to fill their demand, so they get a lot of their juice from a large distillery they own in Louisville.
