We visited Taliesin East today. This was Frank Lloyd Wright's home and school. He was actually born in this valley in 1867. He built the first house on this location in about 1912. It burned several times and was rebuilt bigger and better each time. We spent four hours walking the grounds and touring the many other buildings on the property. We got lucky with the weather.
I don't know beans about architecture. From what we have gathered during many Frank Lloyd Wright visits is that he was a genius. He was also terribly hard to get along with. I guess that is the way it goes with geniuses. I am definitely not a genius. I am easy to get along with. See, that proves the point.
Now some of you out there may remember the lectures at the Academy regarding things not quite being what they appeared to be. I think this might be one of those cases. On the right side of the building you can see a cantilevered walk that is claimed to be a place to walk out and listen to the birds. Yeah, right. It is exactly the size of a portable fratostatic discombobulator. My guess is that the weapon is hidden under the building in a lead sealed compartment to disguise its de Broglie signature. It is probably only used at night since the structure is visible from the highway. Being in a remote area, I would think that it might have at least some mission components which include experimental deployment against, well, I can't say, but you know what I am referring to (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) I have filed a report as required. Remember, this is just between us.
