Well, we are off on another road trip. This one is eight weeks long and it will be a hoot. We plan to hit another half dozen or so state capitols and visit friends and family along the way. We started off today driving to New Orleans to stay with our friends Karen and Paul. Our kids grew up together, so we have known them for a very long time. One of the things they like to do (and we like to do) is play trivia at a local watering hole. The place they play is the Irish House. The food is very good and everybody has a great time. When we arrived these two guys were playing the pipes outside. I like that sound. Not sure why the Scots are entertaining at an Irish pub, but so it goes. I imagine that if the English got involved they would organize a couple unions and bring the whole thing to its knees. Or maybe not. I don't know. life is good. We didn't win but we had a great time.
