Actually, it was 41 feet. What you can't see too easily in the top photo is that the water level is quite far from the boats. The water in the background is a residual puddle after the tide went out.
Very nice John. But I must admit, this place having the biggest tide differential in the world, I was hoping to see a larger range. Maybe about 40 feet. We get over 20 foot tides at Putney, and sometimes bigger is better.
