We headed to Lincoln City on the Oregon coast to visit Ginny's friend Sue, Italo and Sue's mother. It was quite a jolly time. We had lunch at a restaurant on the river and got a glimpse of a doe and her twin fawns walking along the shore. We spent some time on a little hike along the beach. On the way back to Sue's house we got caught up in a traffic detour that ate up about an hour. A business along the main highway caught fire, and they had to block it for several hours.

We had a nice poached salmon dinner, but the best part was the conversation around the table. Sue's mom is quite a live wire. As usual, Ginny insisted on a group picture, so we set up Joe Tripod's identical twin and snapped the above.
