We rolled back into the driveway about 4 pm today. Before leaving Wichita Falls we went to mass which is good because we surely weren't in any shape to go to the evening mass when we got back to Houston. So here is the tale of the tape. Trip A is the drive back from Wichita Falls today. Trip B is what we did overall. 7476.7 miles, 42 days, average 178 miles per day, 304 gallons of gas total. That was quite a trip and we had a great time seeing the sights and visiting with people we know along the way. Now we are home for about two and a half weeks then it is off on another, the last one this year. We are going to Downers Grove (my home town) for the 45th reunion then heading east and dawdling down the east coast visiting our family in Kennett Square and Alpharetta along the way.
