We visited Dinosaur National Monument today. This is one of the coolest ones I have ever seen. It was dinosaurs and pictographs, both very interesting. This particular structure houses the fossil quarry, a deposit of dinosaur fossils that is incredibly dense. It was mined for fossils from 1909 and all that remains of the deposit is what is covered by the building. When you walk in you are faced with a wall of unexcavated dinosaur fossils. Everywhere you look you can see bones. I think this is the best thing I have ever seen at a National Park. Although out in the middle of nowhere, it is definitely worth the diversion to visit.
