I very seldom have a need for macro photography. A few days ago, however, on May 10, I wanted a few photos of the Cherokee to put in my records. Having the G1-X as the only camera available at the time, I was frustrated by the whole experience because it just doesn't have a decent capability in the regard. I ended up getting back and using the zoom. When I tried some macro with the G15, I was pleasantly surprised at the result. This photo is of the top of a card reader and the printing is 3.5 cm wide. I need to get out and take a bunch more photos with the G15 to see how it goes. So far, I like it. Anybody want to buy a used G1-X?
