We had a great day hanging out at Richard and Christiane's house. We were all excited about the Georgia Tech vs. Georgia game and started to watch it. Unfortunately Georgia came to play football and Tech apparently came to play some other game. The Jackets got stomped. That didn't dampen the fun at all. They made some great carnitas and Richard showed me the trick to make corn tortillas pliable. Ginny got busy planning our trip back to Houston. We have five days until we need to be back in town, so we will spend time seeing things along the way. Both Christiane and Ginny are consumate trip planners. Between her guide books, Trip Advisor and other web resources, she produces a spread sheet with all the distances, times, attractions, and hotels so that all I have to do is follow instructions. I like that a lot. We also celebrated Christiane's birthday (a bit early) and had a Christmas present opening (also early). Since we could not be together at Christmas, this was a good time to do that. We leave early Monday morning and will be back in Houston Friday evening. That gives us about a week to get ready for Rob, Laura and Peyton to visit. Life is good!
