We had a great day with Richard and Christiane. It was a long day as well. We started out at Conowingo in Maryland where there is a hydro dam and a large population of cool birds. The big attraction is Bald Eagles. There are lots of them. There was a large contingent of photographers there with really big lenses. Then we went to the W.L.Gore capabilities center and saw a lot of cool technology on display. Christiane works for Gore. Then we headed to lunch in Newark. Then it was downtown Philadelphia for a visit to the Constitution Center and an interesting exhibit on Prohibition. We ended up the day with a great dinner at the Victory Brewing Company in Downingtown. We had some really nice beer there. I have never seen so many growlers being filled up and taken away. By the time we got back to the house everyody was pretty tuckered out. Life is good!
