We got an early start this morning because Ginny had a long list of things she wanted to see. Our first stop was the Anne Frank House, which was interesting. When we arrived, there was already a line to get in. After that we headed to the Hermitage where the relocated van Gogh exhibit was opening. We got to go to the head of the line because we had purchased the museum card. The line was VERY LONG. We went through the whole thing including an impressionist exhibition. Ginny really liked it. That's what counts. Finally, we went to Rembrandt's house, from which he was evicted in 1656 when he went bankrupt. It was interesting. They had a demonstration of making lithographs which was cool. We went over to the Royal Palace in hopes of getting in, but it wasn't opening for another few weeks. In Dam Square there was a great deal of activity with street performers and lots of people just milling about. We went back to the hotel and stopped at the grocery store for some dinner fixings. Then we went over tot he docks to see the boat we are going to board tomorrow. We went aboard and verified times. From what we saw, it is very nice. We start that adventure tomorrow.
