We went to the Clatsop County Fair today. It was pretty cool. This is small town America at its best. All the kids with their animals were in their glory. Short shorts and tank tops with cowboy boots were the dress of the day for the teenage girls. The part that I really found interesting was the lumberjack contest. These guys are the real deal. I am sure you have seen this type of contest on TV at one time or another. Anyway, the best part was watching these two guys handle their V-8 powered chain saw. They cut through this log in less than two seconds. I was impressed. A good time was had by all.
