I had the good luck to go sturgeon fishing with our friend Richard Angstrom. I had never been sturgeon fishing before, so I was very excited about the prospect of giving it a try. Sturgeon are bottom dwellers, just like catfish. You fish them just like catfish. Put a giant glob of bait (in this case sand shrimp) on the hook and slobber on some glop that provides an enhanced scent. Toss out the line with a big sinker then sit and wait. We got only one sturgeon, and he was under size so we had to throw him back. It was fun.
