I don't know how many of you out there use Lightroom. My friend Dave Beedon pointed me in that direction quite a while ago, and I have used it ever since. It works well for what I want. One of the things you come to appreciate about it is that it builds a library file that has a lot of files and folders. I have no idea what the scheme is. Anyway, when you look at this information screen, it is the library file that Lightroom builds. As a point of reference, this library file is for 81,151 photos that I have in the library. That is a lot of files and folders dedicated to that purpose. I am not complaining because I like the way Lightroom works. I just have to remember that when I launch it, it takes a while to load all that crap.
BTW - if anyone has upgraded to Lightroom 3, let me know what you think.
No, these are the preview files that Lightroom generates. I have the actual photos in folders organized by the day taken. I have no idea how Lightroom organizes and names these things.
