This was our first full day in Lima. We had a leisurely breakfast then took a taxi to the National Museum of Anthropology. We were able to get a personal guided tour (in English) for five bucks, what a deal. It was very interesting. I guess the thing I learned was the Inca empire only lasted about 100 years. Then the Spanish showed up and destroyed it. We went back to the hotel in the early afternoon and headed out to the grocery store to get some snacks, beer and wine. Then we started skyping our boys and some others. Jeez, I love that skype stuff. We even had a nice video conference with Ginny's sister Theresa.
After dark we attended the light show at Fountains of Lima. It was fun. Here Ginny and I are exiting the "Tunnel of Suprises" which is formed by many arching jets of water.
