We had a real cool day. We took a jet boat ride from Lewiston, Idaho to the Hell's Canyon dam. I think it is about 120 miles, round trip. It was a hoot. The scenery was stunning and some of the rapids were a lot of fun. That means we got soaked. There was also quite a bit of wildlife to se as well. We got real lucky and found this group of big horn sheep hanging out at the edge of the river. It was pretty cool. It was a very long day. We departed at 8:00 am and returned to the dock at 6:30 pm. There were a bunch of stops for refreshments and lunch. Although this was a pricey endeavor, I would do it again in a heartbeat. We only have a couple more days on our vacation within a vacation. Hate to see it end. However, we will be in Houaton for only a week before departing on our next adventure to South American and the Galapagos Islands. Life is good.
