Our friends Karen and Paul are visiting us out here on the Oregon Coast. We went clamming this morning and had a good time. It turned out to be a sunny day (unusual!) so we headed up to the Astoria Column. This is on the tallest hill in Astoria and it affords a stunning view of the Columbia River. Ginny, Karen and Paul climbed the column and posed. I do like my 100-400 lens!
