Yesterday as I was doodling around in the hangar, I heard the unmistakeable sound of round engines approaching. I ran outside and a C-47 was making a low approach over the field. It stayed in the pattern and proceded to land and head over to the big ramp where it shut down for the night. This morning I came out early in hopes of getting some decent photos. It turns out the airplane is going to be at LaPorte for a couple weekends hopping rides. I had a good chance to get a bunch of photos today. I love the sound of those engines.
