David and I had a good time today. He has moved back to Houston from Chicago. It was a beautiful day and he wanted to go to the driving range. I tagged along and took it as an opportunity to take some pictures. I wanted to get the ball in the air. I used the 100-400 racked out to 400 and shot a bunch. I figured the depth compression would make the ball a lot bigger and visible. That it did, of course. But there is still the problem with DOF on that lens, even at f/13. I got some photos that showed what I wanted to show. If I ever get the chance again, I know a lot more and would get some better stuff. So it goes.
