We flew from Darwin to Ayers Rock today with a stop in Alice Springs. At Ayers rock we motored out to have a look at the Olgas, which are giant rocks like Ayers Rock jutting out of the desert. We went to Ayers Rock and got out to have a look. Now I know what Agent Listorama sees in Utah. Lots of red sandstone. Anyway, the evening activity was to view the rock at sunset. To our surprise, the guide had arranged for champagne and nibbles while we were watching. Here is my attempt at artsy-fartsy with the situation.

Nice champagne shot, that lump of red stone spoils it though.
Would have been better with the moon shining through.

As an artsy fartsy critic, I approve whole fartily! Cool shot!
