We traveled to Kakadu National Park today. This is located in the Northern Territory east of Darwin, where we spent last night. One of the cool things we did today was to take a boat ride out on the Yellow Water wetlands. We saw a lot of critters, mainly birds and crocodiles. This fellow was the only crocodile on the shore. The guide said he was cooling off by keeping his mouth open. Works for me. There were several other boats around with fishermen on board. We saw one guy haul in a pretty big baramundi. This was a very pleasant day. We ended up at the Gagudju Crocodile Holiday Inn for the night. It was a cool hotel that was built in the shape of a crocodile. It was impossible to photograph because it was surrounded by tall trees.
