We had a great day. We drove over to the Sol Duc river and stopped at the hot springs to see what that was like. It was nice, but we had no interest in sitting in hot water. Up the road a little farther was a trail to Sol Duc Falls. That hike was the main item on the agenda for today. It was a really nice hike through the woods. The weather was sunny and (relatively) warm. Wingy - again no jackets, the temperature was in the low 70s. I have to be honest, though, because Ginny took off her jacket for the photo. Anyway, the falls were really nice. We met some folks up there who were from Palm Springs. I had a long talk with the guy because they were on an extended trip with a fifth wheel RV. I think I would like one of those. It would be better than the motorhome for a lot of reasons. I picked his brain for quite a while. After the hike we went over to the Storm King ranger station to look up a friend of a friend who is a seasonal ranger. And sure enough she was there and we had a nich talk. We stopped by the motorhome to drop off a bunch of stuff then went into Port Angeles to see what progress had been made on some sand sculptures. It was interesting. Back at the ranch we made a grest spaghetti dinner then tried to watch a movie, but fell asleep. The movie is Hitchcock's "The Trouble with Harry". This was the third attempt. We will try again tomorrow.
