There are few things that Ginny likes as much as digging clams. One of those things is picking and eating berries. Her mom has a large raspberry patch behind the house. We visited today and the berries were ready for picking. Ginny got busy and picked 16 pint baskets of red raspberries. Now what is interesting, remember that she is a girl, is that she did her picking while yakking on the phone with her girlfriends. We took six pints back to the coast with us. Unlike store bought berries, these guys are fresh and ripe. Therefore, they are sweet. Good eats for the next week or so. Now, just wait and see what happens when the 20 acres of blueberries are ready to pick.
