We did touring around Inverness today. The first stop was the Culloden battlefield where the Jacobite rebellion was smashed by the Engllish in 1746. Thus ended Bonnie Prince Charlie's attempt to bring the Stuarts back to the throne. Here we are at Cawdor Castle, the setting for Shakespear's MacBeth. I admit to reading it in high school, but I don't remember much of it except that he did Duncan in, a practice which was perfectly acceptable in those way back years when struggles for power were pretty deadly.
