Yeah, another sob story about getting stopped by a passing train. It actually hapened twice today. Both times I was within sight of the crossing when the guards came down. Only a scant few second earlier and I would have made it safely across before the train came. So, I have resolved, I will alway leave two minutes early so that this doesn't ever happen again.

Almost every day I get stopped at level crossings to wait for trains.
Aint those railroad people ever heard of bridges and tunnels.
With our less than straight roads and short distances between stations it is possible to get stopped by the same train twice.
And that is just not funny.

Dave - I am fascinated by trains and would love to watch them pass by, but not when I want to get somewhere. exzim - FCC means Fluidized Bed Catalytic Cracker. Called Cat Cracker. That's the process used to break up crude oil and make gasoline, solvents and olefins.

What would be a FCC Catalyst. A glimpse of Janet Jackson's boob. Someone saying f--k. America, where have your civil liberties gone ?

Attitude adjustment therapy might help to rid you of this unfortunate malady. Try to imagine a state of mind in which you welcome the pleasant diversion of sight, sound, and feel produced by the passage of a train. It is sheer joy. One note of caution: full-body contact with a moving train is not a valid path to Enlightenment.
