One of the great things about flying is that you get to see cool stuff. I went out for a little practice this morning. There was a low broken cloud deck at 800 feet. I flew around above it and got to see a really neat thing. The shadow of the airplane on the cloud is surrounded with a halo of light. Very cool. Then I flew back to the airport, put the airplane away and had a beer.
