Eastbound and down, loaded up and trucking. This is the view of the motorhome and the towed car just before I headed back east to the farm. It was an uneventful trip. I managed to handle gear shifting a lot better and avoided getting the engine real hot. We had a real good time in the motorhome, had some visitors and enjoyed having a portable hotel room.

It isn't all that hard to do. I did it in two iterations. The trick is to get a little too close and rest the hitch on the ball then slowly back up and correct left and right with the steering wheel. The hitch just drops into place.

The quality of accommodation provided by that motor home is excellent: it even has a veranda! Its owner is a gentleman.

John, how difficult is it for one person to align the towing hitch on the car with the towing hitch on the RV?
