It rained like hell today. I was out at the hangar working on the Cessna annual. With the tin roof the rain was so loud that I couldn't listen to my tunes. This is a shot of the lake that appears between the taxiways and runway. I decided to head on home about 4 pm and called Ginny to let her know I was coming. The way home was mostly flooded and I spent an hour looking for a dry route. Ginny called and asked what was taking so long. I told her about the flooding and she said,"Why don't you just head back to the airport and hang out for a while longer?" What an understanding woman! So I headed back to the hanger and helped my neighbor Rip drink a bunch of beer. Ain't aviation great?

All that work at the airport on the roads and they never put in decent drains.
What is the world coming to.
