As I was packing up to head out to the hangar, I got to thinking about an old aviation saying, "It is better to be down here wishing you were up there than to be up there wishing you were down here." I decided to see if I could capture that thought in a photo. I shot quite a few along the lines of this one. I thought it came out pretty good, but I am not impartial in this circumstance.

I think its an awesome picture! But to make it more believeable, you might want to have a bottle of some "gournd beverage" next to you.

Very cool photo! It looks as if the not-quite-impartial subject is facing the runway, but it would be better to know for sure---the doubt takes away a little bit of the mood. Maybe a shot slightly from the side would do the trick.
