Although hurricane Ike was over about a month ago, we still look around for damage. Ginny went out with binoculars to have a look at the roof. Our roof is really too steep for me to climb around on it. We saw a couple of spots of concern. Our binoculars aren't really all that good, so I grabbed my camera and snapped on the 100-400 zoom and shot some photos. These are a lot better than we can see otherwise. It looked like we lost some shingles on the ridge row. This was, however, the more interesting. It looks like our satellite dish was blown sufficiently hard to buckle the roof decking. We'll get the experts out to have a look. Fortunately, it isn't an emergency. Won't need any blue tarps on the roof.

If the signals are affected, it IS an emergency.
