You are probably wondering what corn has to do with anything. Well, Ginny's dad and I were out surveying the duck lake and looking at the corn which is planted there. This is an unusual plant because there are three ears growing on it. Normally there is only one or maybe two. What people who are all enamored with the ethanol for fuel don't realize is that it is damned expensive to raise corn. Also, only a tiny percentage of the plant's weight is useful for making ethanol. The green fringe ethanol idiots all live in the city, I guess.
