We visited Springfield on September 25, 2013. We were on a road trip to my 45th high school reunion. It was a beautiful day and we were on our toes and got quite a few nice photos. The giant copper doors were in the news because the state spent about $750,000 on three sets when the state was deep in the dumper financially. Politicians seem to feel they have a bottomless supply of other people's money. |
