guys just wanted to correct you on one thing. If i am looking at this picture correctly it was take and the Aquarium or the Americas in New Orleans LA. The Gator you see here is truly not an albino. Albino Alligators lack all pigment and have pinkish eyes. The White Gators kept here are Leucistic American Alligators they also are white but they have pigment in the eyes ranging in color from blue, brown, and black.

Are you sure this is an albino and not one the white alligators discovered in New Orleans in 1987? The white alligators are white with blue eyes (which albinos have pink to red eyes)and exhibit the genetic condition called leucism. This is more rare than albinism. I was just curious because the skin in this photo is very white where albinos tend to have off-white to yellow skin and colorless irises. With his eyes closed I could not tell. There are only about 20 of these white alligators alive. Maybe you could get a photo of one of the white ones.
