This one was a multi-stage process, started with a shot of an Egyptian dancer I took at the CNE a few years ago, converted it to a paint effect and separated the figure from the background.
I used an early 19th century painting of Karnac which I made slightly out of focus as a background and overlaid the picture of the dance, after combining them I blended in a sketch effect...
