From a badly faded and scratched snapshot, a rather rare gun from WW 1, the British 15 inch Howitzer.
Only 12 of these Howitzers were produced, initially manned by Royal Marine Artillery Detachments before being turned over to the Army. It fired a 1450 pound (658 Kg) shell with a range of just under 10 miles
