Friday the 13th of October 2006 cb

Nearly unlucky for me, I was expecting another animal attack when the blue car got close and distracted this quite large mean looking big brown animal with lots of pointy bits on its head.
Sunny, some clouds, 19C, 2 mph W wind, 1031 mb (very high), 66% rh.
A really pleasant day.

Dave, there are thousands of deer in Richmond Park, Red deer and Fallow dear, they cross and recross the roads on a daily basis. The speed limit in the park is 20 mph.
They do get hurt occasionally, usually when they run out fast into the side of a car.
I saw this happen once, the front left side of the car was wrecked, the deer ran off at an incredible speed.

This is an interesting photo. I hope the animals were not injured.
Those who assume I would bring up archane topics are to be watched carefully and not trusted.

The cars are confused because the deer are on the road, I am confused because I have forgotten what day it is. I hope I never forget which side of the road to drive on, that will be confusing.

The deer are confused because the cars are driving on the wrong side of the road.

Julian, I will pass this one to our legal department. Damn, thats me. Ok then, in Plain English.
Statutory Instrument 1997 No. 1639 Para 4 (18) Royal Parks. Clearly states,
You will not take photographs of still or moving subjects for the purpose of or in connection with a business, trade, profession or employment or any activity carried on by a body of persons whether corporate or unincorporate.
This is also covered by Space Directive 785230129.
Summed up by Lord A.E.Neuman in his immortal speech "What me worry".
I agree with Lord Neuman,

Of course the elk would lose in the accident, but that would be a great loss under those circumstances. Great photo, being at the right place and time

Another brush with Mother Nature! I like the way tou have framed the crow(?)
between the antlers, excellent composition.

p.s. I can't believe he hasn't done this yet, but before Beedon points this out
just wondering what your views were on Statutory Instrument 1997 No. 1639
referring to [para 4 (18)] of course ?

Richmond Park, Sawyer's Hill John ?? And if I remember correctly, the motorist is to blame for whatever damage is done to his car. !!

I believe that the occupants of the car would be more likely to limp following a collision with this monster. Greatcapture of a splendid opportunity.
