This is a great job. Every time I tried something like this it was a disaster.

Forgive me for lacking the cultural view enjoyed by people in England, who must understand the connection between having to get a new camera and the passing of "an appropriate lorry." (I know that "lorry" is a code word for "truck.") Is this message designed to thwart The Enemy? Please advise.

Dave, you are possibly right. The gravitational shift effect from Box Hill, which was behind me when I took the photo. Could have stopped the shutter. The damage was permanent, I had to get a new camera as soon as an appropriate lorry passed.

Nice shot (although I know that a strong magnetic influenece---not a double exposure---created the ghost effect). This must bring back nice memories. The comment about stages of one's life appeals to me.

What a great shot, things like that just dont happen by accident with digital...

A nice idea, well done! I guess this concept could be used with images of a single person at different ages for very young onwards, and then "stepping stones" would have a symbolic meaning also. 'Feasible?
