Great catch, John ... looks rather well maintained as well. I wonder if it's operational ???

Spitfires and Pink Tanks in gardens, this is England, land of the free. What a dull place it would be without these wonderful characters.

This is almost as stupid as the pink tank on a street corner in SE1.(A RUSSIAN T34/85)

Very impressive garden ornament.

That's hilarious. And as a garden ornament it is not just expensive but also ridiculous.
This is mine

That would take some beating! Is this in Somerset too? >Reminds me of a mate I used to meet up with at Taunton every Monday night on our way back up country from Devon deliveries; he told me he had been given a "pick-up" of a pair of Messershmidt wings and as a WW2 plane fan was quite excited as he rearranged the load in the rear of his truck to accomodate them , turned out they were for a bubble car :-)
Cheers Derek
