Relic from an era past.

Richmond river bed. view map

There was an Ice Skating rink in Richmond from 1927 to 1987.
Demolished by property developers to build houses.
This boot in the mud on the river bed is about all there is left to show that ice skating ever took place there.
I have geo tagged where the rink used to be.

What does not kill you Larry, makes you stronger.
You survived that, and Viet Nam, you are doing quite well.

That kind of brings back memories. I didn't wear those
type skates but I used to play ice hockey. Dang. I don't
know what I was thinking at the time. I was a shrimp.
I could have been killed.
