Fire Engine, river version.

River Thames

Guaranteed never to run out of water.
I have seen these boats fighting a big fire in a paint factory beside the River Thames.
The amount of water they put into the building was incredible.
There was so much it could not flow away fast enough.
If you had of been in the centre of the building you would either be burnt to death or drowned.
Sadly this was many years ago when I never carried a camera.

John, great information about the Fire Engine. One nevers gets the whole story sometimes. Great news. Well done. V.

Exzim, I would guess the PLA (Port of London Authority) who control all of the Thames from Teddington to the sea have their own registration system for boats.

Why does the owner have a number. Wouldn't it be the local fire department or some version of the local rescue service
