John, I cannot tell a lie, I do not want to replace the photographer, no matter how many shots she misses, she will be my photographer for eternity.
It would have been a great shot though, would have been even better with a Go-Pro.

It might be a bit late to replace the photographer.

Actually we had an interesting nautical occurance on this trip.
Due to missoperation by the operator (that would be me) the boat was stuck in reverse at full throttle.
Luckily the rudder was hard over as well. So the boat was running around in a six foot circle backwards.
Because of the shape of the bootlegger it goes very fast in reverse.
Also the prop shaft is at a downward angle of about 12 degrees.
The result of this is that the engine pulls the boat underwater.
So there we were watching the boat circling very fast backwards about two inches underwater. This was quite spectacular, but I was let down by the photographer who never got one shot of all this action.

Hopefully she stayed upright this time.

The front end looks like a submarine.
