Yet another derelict.

Why are there so many derelict boats on rivers.
Boats are very expensive, yet they are routinely left to rot.
I wish someone would let me have their unwanted boat.
I just love boats.

It could be Dave.
I would love to spend summer days pottering about on this, building it into a houseboat.
But,,,the biggest problem would be finding somewhere to moor it.
Moorings are priced by the length and width of your boat.
This barge is huge, the chamces of finding somewhere is remote, and if I did the cost would be astronomical.
So it is back to walking river banks, taking photos, and day dreaming.

John, it looks like it has been turned into a recycle center for mother nature. Great image. V.
