Redwing.

Only seen a few of these here in the last 30 years.
Today, about 40 of them rested in the trees in front of the house.
As I recall, none of them made a noise, no singing, nothing.

Strange how they suddenly flocked to Putney, there are still about 30 of them using the trees out front to roost.
